Wesley D. Barnard, CPA
Wes is an Audit Partner at Federman,
Lally & Remis with accounting, auditing, consulting and financial
management responsibilities during his eighteen-year career in
public accounting. Prior to joining the firm, Wes was with Blum
Shapiro from 1989 to 1998.
Professional Experience
Wes has a wide range of experience providing accounting and auditing
services to closely held business organizations. His activities
include consulting with clients to develop and implement accounting,
reporting and financial management systems and assistance with
business and operational issues. He is experienced in performing
management and internal control reviews, as well as cash forecasts
and projections. Wes manages two clients each with revenues in
excess of $1 billion. These clients are in the automotive and
distribution industries.
Education and Certifications
Wes received a Bachelor of Science from
Quinnipiac University in 1989 and was licensed as a Certified
Public Accountant in 1992.
Wes is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public
Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants
Accounting & Reporting Standards Committee. He is also a member
of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Professional and Community Service
Wes is Assistant Treasurer and a member of the Board of Governors
of the Arthritis Foundation of Northern and Southern New England.
