Scott A. Goodwin, CPA

Scott is a Partner at Federman, Lally & Remis. He joined the firm in 1995 after several years on the tax staff of Deloitte & Touche and as a senior accountant at Travelers Insurance Company. Scott has a wide range of experience providing accounting, auditing and tax services to closely held business organizations in manufacturing, automotive and other industries.

Professional Experience

Scott manages audit and tax services for the firm’s largest client with revenues approaching $2 billion. In this capacity, Scott's activities include manager-in-charge of more than 40 company financial statement reviews, personal financial statements, tax planning and compliance for more than 75 companies. In addition, Scott is responsible for tax and accounting services for closely held companies and individuals.

Education and Certifications

Scott received a Bachelor of Science from University of Southern Maine in 1988.

Scott is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
