Richard J. Massaro
Rick is a tax professional with Federman, Lally & Remis. Prior to joining the firm in November of 2009, Rick was a Tax Senior in the Lead Tax Services group of Deloitte Tax in Hartford, Connecticut. Rick has also worked as a Staff Accountant for Konowitz, Kahn & Co. in North Haven, Connecticut.
Professional Experience
During his time with Deloitte, Rick worked with several Fortune 500 companies, assisting with the preparation and review of Federal, State and International tax filings as well as the preparation and review of income tax disclosures for public filings. Rick is involved in all aspects of the tax function including tax compliance, tax planning and tax consulting. Rick works with closely held companies in various industries including automotive, manufacturing, distribution and real estate as well as high net worth individuals.
Education and Certifications
Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Quinnipiac University in 2006 and his Master’s in Taxation from Bentley University in 2008.
Rick is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
