Joseph Coco, CPA
Joe is a Senior Tax Manager at Federman, Lally & Remis with experience in federal and state tax compliance, consulting and tax planning services for a variety of types of clients. Prior to joining the firm, Joe worked with Blum Shapiro and United Technologies Corporation, among other firms.
Professional Experience
Joe’s experience includes working with closely held businesses, partnerships, individuals, corporations and consolidated returns. Joe manages the tax services for several large clients with aggregate revenues of more than $1 billion. He is manager-in-charge of over 50 companies for tax planning and compliance requirements. During his 20 plus years of experience, Joe has been involved with and responsible for projects ranging from complying with federal and state tax audits to implementing and maintaining efficiency standards for tax department personnel.
Education and Certifications
Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University in 1985. Joe received a Master of Science in Taxation degree from the University of Hartford in 1995. He is a CPA certified in the State of Connecticut.
